Dr. David L. Allen

Keynote Speaker

Dr. David L. Allen is founder and editor-in-chief of PreachingCoach, a ministry dedicated to equipping pastors and ministry leaders to communicate with clarity, competence, and confidence. Through personal and group coaching, podcasts, webinars, eBooks, Ministry classes, and other resources, PreachingCoach trains and mentors those who desire to communicate more effectively.


In 2022, Dr. Allen became the Distinguished Professor of Practical Theology and Dean of the Adrian Rogers Center for Biblical Preaching at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee.

Over the past 40 years, Dr. Allen has led or participated in more than 400 preaching workshops, conferences, revivals, and other events in the US and in more than a dozen countries abroad.


This extensive background equips him to champion, teach, and model “text-driven” preaching, and he co-edited a book by that title, as well as numerous other books and articles on preaching, Old Testament, New Testament, and theology. His books have been translated into Spanish, Korean, and Portuguese.

STEVE & CP FERRIS

WORSHIP LEADERS

Steve and CP Ferris live in the Town of Almira, located in the wheat country of Central Washington (population 295+). They serve on worship teams at two church campuses – Coulee Dam Community Church and Almira Community Church. Whenever they are in in Colorado, they love spending time at their mountain property in Western Colorado and worshiping at Rosemont Baptist Church.

Their musical talent and passion for Jesus shines through as they lead the people of God in worshiping Him through song.

Rolland Kenneson

Conference Coordinator

Rolland Kenneson has been in ministry leadership for over 30 years, serving churches and educational ministries throughout Colorado. He currently serves as pastor at Rosemont Baptist Church in Montrose, Colorado. His personal ministry is The 2 Timothy 2:2 Objective through which he helps people find their identity in Christ igniting a passion within them to serve uniquely in the Body of Christ.

 

Rolland received his bachelor’s degree from Colorado Christian University and obtained his Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to Rhonda since 1992. Together they have one daughter, Jessica, who works as a biochemist. When he is not pastoring, coaching, or ministering, Rolland loves spending time with his wife, woodworking, leatherworking, tinkering in the shop, fishing, and enjoying the beauty of Colorado.
