Session Descriptions

Each week Pastors go from study to sermon. How do you establish a cycle of preparation? Dr. Allen has used these 12 steps for 30 years to make the journey! Whether you serve as the senior pastor, student pastor, biblical communicator or lay leader, this session will be formative in your bible study.

Dr. Allen says, "Interesting and memorable preaching has learned how to turn the ear into an eye." In session, he will show pastors the importance of great illustrations and applications and how to develop them. Additionally, Dr. Allen will discuss delivery issues that will help pastors communicate well.

Dr. Allen will finish the conference by encouraging pastors dealing with isolation. Ministry can be lonely, and in the remote areas of Western Colorado, that feeling can be amplified. This sermon will not only bring encouragement but will also exemplify the principles taught through the entire conference.
